Quantum tech takes center stage in Germany’s new Hightech Agenda 🇩🇪
The momentum is real: The German government and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany are moving fast, placing quantum at the core of Germany’s technological strategy. At Peak Quantum, we’re proud to be part of the effort to turn that ambition into reality.
In Germany’s new Hightech Agenda unveiled this week, quantum technology is one of six key national priorities – setting the stage for accelerated funding and industrialisation. We’re especially excited by the emphasis on quantum chip pilot lines, one of which is the German SUPREME Hub, operated by Peak Quantum in close collaboration with the Walther-Meissner-Institute (WMI) and our Munich Quantum Valley partners.
The agenda signals a strategic understanding: it’s not just about more qubits, it’s about logical ones. Achieving fault-tolerance at scale remains one of the biggest industry challenges. At Peak Quantum, we see this as a clear call to action to continue our mission to build error-protected, scalable QPUs that move us closer to practical, industrial-grade quantum computing.
